Hello Creatures of the deep! This is, unfortunately, the last blog comment of this year. darn.
These are two of my favorite pieces from this year:
I hope you like them, too!
Now, for my letter to any future AP art students:
Dear youngster,
My name is Noelle. Yes, it is christmas in french, and no I was not born on christmas. My grandfather's name was Noel, pronounced "Nole," and he died before I was born, so my mom wanted me to have his name in honor of him. Except I turned out to be a girl, so Noelle had to do. I am in AP art, and have been in AP art since the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year at Lakeridge High School. I have really enjoyed my time in this class, and I can't garuntee that you will, but I would say that if you invest your heart into your art and you make some friends in the class you will have a good time. My year has ben incredible; I learned how to paint, and well. Imagine that, learning to paint in an art class... I have made some lifelong friends. I have helped those friends grow as artists. I definitely feel accomplished because I took this class. Hopefully when you take this class, you will have the same wonderful experiences that I did. I mean, who could ask for more from a high school class? In art, we have freedom to create whatever our hearts desire. We can paint boobies! Or perhaps we could paint food, too! Or maybe even food on boobies or boobies on food! The possibilities are endless; and if you let your mind wander to where it wants to wander, I can garuntee that you will have a rather successful year.
All the best,
Noelle
